My name is Melissa. The following blog posts grew from my writings to myself for myself. The prose I wrote anchored God’s truths to my mind. My story has been shaped shaped by living with challenges that not only invaded my life, but also took up residence.
I had been wrestling with God about expanding my story of His faithfulness in my struggles to a wider community. This grew into putting into written words the wisdom He generously gave as He promised.
God paved the way for perseverance to a life of joy, purpose and fulfillment I could not have anticipated. The way led to a quiet strength in Him when life didn’t go as planned.
God has given me a unique platform from which to offer real hope and life-learned wisdom from Him: having been a child with special needs and a parent raising children with special needs.
